My weekend trip to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park was very educational. I had no idea how many species are endangered -- some with only a few dozen remaining and a few where they are extinct in the wild, with the survivors remaining only in captivity. Very sad what man has done out of greed. I was happy to learn of the great work the San Diego Wild Animal Park does for reproductive research, rescue and animal genetics.
