"Gold Rush"

Fall in Zion National Park is spectacular. The blazing colors can take your breath away. In an area called the Zion Narrows, a 16-mile long slot canyon, the rushing water continually carves its way through a sandstone labyrinth that draws thousands of nature enthusiasts every year.

This image was captured three to four miles from the end of the canyon, at a river bend. Given the time of year, the water was icy cold, moving very quickly, generating its own energy and momentum as it rushed, without hesitation, to its ultimate destination.

As in all your portfolio, not only is the lighting dazzling, but the stark distinction between the solidity of the craggy stone and the soft fluidity of the flowing water, is a metaphor of natures' beauty.
