"Horseshoe Bend Sunset" Horseshoe Bend is a magnificent, timeless sentry overlooking an incredible panorama that includes the Colorado River. Located south of Page, Arizona, near Lake Powell, the jewel-colored river nestles 1,100 feet below its popular overlook. The sheer enormity of Horseshoe Bend takes the breath away, but seeing it through the mellow blaze of sunset is indescribable.
